What are the basic rules to setup a chess board?
Several games are tricky and are not easy to play. But such games keep the mind fresh and awake. Chess is one of them but some individuals have confused about setting the chessboard. Although chess setup is easy, we will discuss all the rules of setting the board. There's a total of 64 boxes on the board that's 8 on each side and helps it be squared. You have some dice in your hand that you've to place in these boxes and you've to play with these dices. Every dice has its name and is positioned in a specific row.

The rows on this board are named as ranks and the dices are named as pawns, rooks, knights, bishops, king and queen. They are places within their specific row. First, you've to place the pawns in the second and 7th row. Let's place black pawns in the second row and white pawns in the 7th row. Now the chess setup is really a little tricky here. Place the white rooks in the corners such as the black is placed behind the black one and white are positioned behind white pawns. Here you've completed almost half your work.

Now take the knights and put them beside the rooks in the similar way that white is placed behind white pawns and black behind black pawns. Now just how to setup a chess board with bishops. Place the bishops with the knights and from then on bring the king which is placed after knights. The past box is for the queen and here it will be placed. So, most of the boxes are filled and the board is prepared now. You have to practice for this and you will soon be a specialist inside it quite easily. After 3 to 4 times, you could have a good idea about setting the board.
